What This Role Will Do

The Machinery & Equipment (M&E) Valuation practice provides clients with credible, defensible valuations of machinery, equipment, and industrial assets across a wide range of industries. The Manager will be responsible for independently owning client engagements from scoping through delivery, representing the firm professionally with a range of stakeholders, and developing junior team members. This is a field-active role that requires both technical valuation expertise and the presence to lead client relationships.


Key Responsibilities
  • Independently execute M&E valuation engagements of varying scope and size, , with accountability for quality and client timelines
  • Manage all phases of the engagement lifecycle: kickoff, site visit, analysis, report preparation, and client delivery
  • Serve as a credible, reliable point of contact for clients on assigned engagements, communicating findings clearly to technical and executive audiences
  • Conduct on-site inspections of machinery, equipment, and industrial facilities, including manufacturing plants, warehouses, and varied operational environments
  • Delegate effectively to associate and senior associate-level staff, maintaining oversight of work product and developing junior team members through day-to-day collaboration
  • Exercise sound judgment on when to engage practice leadership versus move forward independently
  • Assist management in preparing a credible scope of work and bid estimate for new opportunities
  • Proactively leverage the Managing Director and senior leadership as a resource, particularly in complex or novel situations


What Makes You Successful in This Role
  • U.S. work authorization is required
  • ASA credential in Machinery & Technical Specialties completed or actively in progress
  • Demonstrated experience in machinery and equipment valuation or a closely related discipline
  • Proven ability to manage client engagements independently, including scoping and pricing work
  • Strong professional presence with experience engaging senior or technically sophisticated audiences
  • Willingness and ability to travel for site visits, including industrial and manufacturing environments
  • Engineering background or mindset with comfort analyzing mechanical and operational systems is a strong plus
  • Finance background or mindset with comfort understanding and analyzing financial statements is a strong plus
  • Experience directing and developing associate-level staff is a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Collaborative approach with peers, associates, and firm leadership; proactively engages leadership rather than operating in isolation
