Description

Summary:

The Equipment Finance Sales Executive works closely with the Regional Bank to create Optimal Customer Relationships (OCR) through education on equipment finance and leasing products, capital planning with our customer base, and prospecting new relationships in the markets covered. This position acts as a centralized point of contact between Relationship Managers in the market and the Asset Finance organization. This role also acts as the Relationship Manager for all equipment related needs of our clients and prospects in their assigned geography.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and present Equipment Finance industry updates and product details to the Regional Bank markets

  • Generate new business through direct and joint calling to both customers and prospects around equipment financing solutions

  • Prepare credit packages for preview with the Portfolio Manager

  • Negotiate and propose finance terms and buyouts on specific lease products

  • Work closely with Sales Coordinators to help prepare documentation that meets internal and external regulatory requirements

  • Actively identify and act on cross-sell opportunities for other bank products and services

  • Maintain and manage a high-quality equipment financing portfolio

  • Perform other duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and/or experience 

  • 5+ years of customer facing experience in Commercial Bank Relationship Management and/or Equipment Finance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working for a financial institution

  • Formalized financial statement review and credit training

  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills

  • Proven negotiation skills

  • High level of professionalism

  • Ability to travel at least 25% of the time
