Job description

EPMO Manager

Ultradent, a global name in oral health, is hiring an EPMO Manager to lead our project management team.

We're growing fast, and our EPMO runs a wide range of projects - process improvements, governance work, facilities, and the operational changes that come with growth. On technical implementations we partner with IT, sized to the change, and often support the change management and facilitation.

This is a player-coach role: you lead the project managers who deliver the work, and carry projects of your own too. We're a medical device company, so getting the details right matters as much as moving fast. The framework and systems are already in place - we need a leader who uses them with judgment and builds that instinct in the team.

Full-time, in-office, five days a week.

What you'll do

  • Lead, coach, and grow a team of project managers - including hiring and performance decisions.
  • Carry projects of your own end to end - scope, timeline, budget, and quality.
  • Work with leaders across the company to prioritize where the team spends its time.
  • Run the day-to-day of the PMO and lead the team through change.

What you bring

  • Experience leading a team - you've managed, developed, and held people accountable.
  • Seven-plus years running complex projects end to end.
  • Strong command of project management fundamentals; you scale the rigor to the risk.
  • Clear communication with any audience, from the shop floor to the C-suite. Bachelor's or equivalent; PMP and medical device/QMS a plus.

Who you are

  • You lead by growing people, and give honest feedback.
  • You create order out of ambiguity - and build teams that do the same.
  • You own the framework, not just follow it, and prioritize under pressure.
  • You care more about getting it right than being right.

Ultradent is an Equal Opportunity Employer. We are a global culture where differences and perspectives are sought after, welcomed, and embraced. We consider all qualified applicants fairly, based on their experience, skills, and potential to contribute to our team. Our core values - Integrity, care, quality, innovation, and hard work- guide us daily. These values, when balanced, shape our workplace culture and ensure that we remain focused on our vision while maintaining a professional and inclusive environment.
