Job description

Position Summary

The Business Analyst is responsible for the day-to-day administration, support, maintenance, and optimization of the Epicor ERP system. This role works closely with accounting, operations, supply chain, manufacturing, and leadership teams to ensure the ERP system supports business processes efficiently and accurately. The ideal candidate combines strong technical ERP knowledge with excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Essential Responsibilities
  • Administer, maintain, and support the Epicor ERP environment
  • Configure system settings, security roles, workflows, dashboards, and user permissions
  • Troubleshoot ERP system issues and provide timely support to end users
  • Partner with internal departments to improve workflows and optimize system functionality
  • Assist with ERP upgrades, patches, testing, and implementations
  • Develop and maintain reports, BAQs, dashboards, and custom queries
  • Monitor data integrity and ensure accuracy across modules and processes
  • Create and maintain system documentation, procedures, and training materials
  • Train users on Epicor functionality and best practices
  • Coordinate with external vendors and Epicor support when necessary
  • Support integrations between Epicor and other business applications
  • Analyze business needs and recommend ERP enhancements or process improvements
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business, Accounting, Supply Chain, or related field preferred
  • 3+ years of experience supporting or administering Epicor ERP systems
  • Strong understanding of ERP processes, including finance, manufacturing, inventory, purchasing, and operations
  • Experience with Epicor modules, BAQs, SSRS reporting, dashboards, and system customization
  • Knowledge of SQL and relational databases preferred
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and organizational skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical users
  • Experience supporting ERP implementations or upgrades is a plus
