We are seeking a Finance Systems & Business Analyst to join our Finance team and help optimize financial planning, business systems, reporting, and analytics across our growing multi-site manufacturing organization.

Position Summary

Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), the Finance Systems & Business Analyst is responsible for supporting financial planning, reporting, business systems optimization, and data analytics. This role partners with cross-functional teams to improve business processes, enhance Epicor ERP and FP&A capabilities, automate reporting, and provide meaningful insights that support strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Planning & Analysis

  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning
  • Develop financial models and business performance analyses
  • Perform variance analysis and identify key business drivers
  • Prepare management reports, dashboards, and KPI reporting
  • Provide data-driven recommendations to support business decisions

Finance Systems & Reporting

  • Support the implementation and ongoing enhancement of Epicor FP&A
  • Optimize Epicor ERP processes and reporting capabilities
  • Maintain reporting structures, cost centres, and planning hierarchies
  • Improve data governance, consistency, and reporting accuracy
  • Develop dashboards and analytics using Power BI, Excel, and other reporting tools

Business Process Improvement

  • Analyze finance and operational processes to identify improvement opportunities
  • Automate manual reporting and workflow processes
  • Support standardization across multiple business locations
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency and data quality

Commercial & Cross-Functional Support

  • Support RFQ, estimating, pricing, and quote-to-order process
  • Collaborate with Finance, Sales, Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, and IT teams
  • Develop reporting related to profitability, forecasting, sales pipeline performance, and business metrics
  • Translate business requirements into practical reporting and systems solutions

Qualifications & Skills

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Systems, or a related field
  • 3-7 years of experience in Finance, FP&A, Business Analysis, Finance Systems, or Business Intelligence
  • Manufacturing industry experience preferred
  • Experience with ERP systems; Epicor experience considered an asset
  • Experience supporting budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and process improvement initiatives

Technical Skills

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and financial modelling skills
  • Experience with Power BI or other business intelligence platforms
  • Strong understanding of ERP systems, business processes, and reporting structures
  • Knowledge of SQL, Power Query, Power Automate, or similar technologies considered an asset
