WHAT YOU WILL DO:

As a Manufacturing Engineer at Ace Precision, you will:

  • Drive continuous improvement by analyzing manufacturing processes and implementing solutions that improve efficiency, quality, cost, and delivery
  • Partner with production, quality, sales, and engineering teams to support complex aerospace and defense manufacturing programs
  • Develop, improve, and validate manufacturing processes using sound engineering principles, statistical analysis, and Lean/Six Sigma methodologies
  • Lead and support improvement projects, managing timelines, priorities, and deliverables using project management tools
  • Evaluate process performance using data and statistical methods to identify variation, risk, and opportunities for optimization
  • Create and maintain manufacturing documentation, including routings, work instructions, sketches, and process changes
  • Design complex routings and manufacturing sketches that meet customer specifications and internal standards
  • Support production and quality teams by dispositioning nonconforming product and determining rework or corrective actions
  • Communicate project status and recommendations clearly to leadership and cross-functional stakeholders
  • Document technical decisions and process changes with accuracy and clarity

WHAT EXPERIENCE YOU NEED:

  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering with 3+ years of manufacturing experience
  • Experience with 3D modeling (SolidWorks or similar software)
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Understanding of Lean and/or Six Sigma methodologies with the ability to apply statistical techniques in a manufacturing environment

BONUS POINTS FOR:

  • Experience in sheet metal forming, CNC machining, fusion/resistance welding, heat treating/brazing, or 5-axis laser cutting
  • Experience working with an ERP system, preferably Epicor
