Role Overview
Perform quality engineering assignments supporting supplier quality, manufacturing processes, and product development under guidance of senior engineers.
Key Responsibilities
- Support analysis of manufacturing processes, materials, and systems
- Assist in feasibility testing and validation of engineering solutions
- Support development of engineering standards and specifications
- Perform quality inspections and recommend corrective actions
- Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors as a point of contact
- Identify process gaps and support continuous improvement initiatives
- Participate in product development and engineering activities
- Analyze customer needs and support product delivery
- Work within project plans to meet defined goals
- Maintain knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and technologies
Supplier Quality & Core Activities
- Lead quality planning activities for assigned commodities
- Participate in cross-functional teams for quality initiatives
(FMEA, control plans, design reviews, supplier audits, risk assessments) - Support resolution of supplier quality issues
- Drive corrective actions using 8D methodology
- Manage RGA, SCR, and supplier improvement processes
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 2+ years of experience in manufacturing, quality engineering, or supply management
- Experience with quality tools:
FMEA, NCCA, SPC, Root Cause Analysis, Six Sigma - Experience with data analysis and statistical techniques
- Ability to read drawings, schematics, and GD&T
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and set priorities

- Experience with supplier audits, DPARs, and design reviews

- Experience in riding lawn equipment or utility vehicle manufacturing
- Lean manufacturing experience
