Senior Epic Tapestry Consultant (Utilization Management / Managed Care)

Role Overview

Seeking an experienced Epic Tapestry Certified Consultant to support Utilization Management (UM) workflows within a Managed Care environment. This role involves hands‑on configuration, testing, and validation of Epic Tapestry functionality, ensuring seamless system performance and alignment with business requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Configure and build Epic Tapestry to support UM processes.

  • Lead and execute end‑to‑end testing, including:

    • Unit Testing

    • Integration Testing

    • User Acceptance Testing (UAT)

  • Develop and manage test scripts, validation scenarios, and documentation.

  • Validate configuration changes to ensure system readiness prior to deployment.

  • Partner with business stakeholders to translate UM requirements into system design.

  • Support defect resolution, troubleshooting, and production activities.

  • Collaborate with IT, business, and testing teams during implementations and enhancements.

  • Maintain detailed documentation of workflows, configurations, and testing processes.

Required Qualifications
  • Epic Tapestry Certification (non‑negotiable) — e.g., Tapestry Essentials, Enrollment, or related modules.

  • Proven hands‑on experience with Epic Tapestry configuration/build.

  • Strong background in system testing (UAT, QA, integration).

  • Extensive experience in Managed Care environments.

  • Direct expertise in Utilization Management workflows (Prior Authorization, Referrals, UM processes).

  • Track record supporting full lifecycle Epic implementations or enhancements.
