Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring a CO or compact RN license and prior ED experience.

Details
  • Hospital-based Emergency Department setting
  • Night shift, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week (36 hours/week)
  • May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications
  • May be placed on-call during a regularly scheduled shift
  • EPIC EMR charting used
Requirements
  • Active RN license (CO or compact) required
  • BLS certification from the American Heart Association required, not expiring prior to start
  • ACLS, PALS, and/or TNCC certifications required as appropriate for the unit
  • ASN required; BSN preferred
  • Minimum 1 year of Emergency Department nursing experience required
  • EPIC charting experience required
  • DOB and last four digits of SSN required for consideration
Additional Information
  • Perform independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions per state Board of Nursing standards
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for ED patients
  • Provide health teaching, counseling, and supportive/restorative therapy
  • Refer patients for further evaluation or treatment as needed
  • Document care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
  • Returning employees must be separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment
