Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN for a 13-week travel assignment at a Level 1 Trauma Center in Colorado, requiring a minimum of 3 years of OR experience and Epic proficiency.

Details
  • Work setting is a large, high-volume OR suite with 41 operating rooms at a Level 1 Trauma Center
  • Cases include General, GU/GYN, Neuro, ENT, and Plastics
  • 1:1 patient ratio
  • Day shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts with a 6:45 AM start, with occasional float to 8:45 AM or 10:45 AM starts
  • Occasional float to nights, not to exceed 3 shifts per contract
  • Weekend shifts required per unit needs
  • On-call required per unit needs, approximately 6 shifts per 8-week schedule period
  • May float to other OR units within the same health system
  • Epic EMR experience required
Requirements
  • Active CO RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
  • Current AHA BLS certification required
  • Minimum 3 years of OR experience required
  • Level 1 or Level 2 trauma center experience required
  • Epic EMR experience required
  • First-time travelers are not eligible for this position
Additional Information
  • Candidates who have previously completed a full-year assignment at this facility must wait at least one year before being considered for a new assignment
  • RTO is capped at 10 days maximum and is not permitted during the following blackout periods: June 28–July 9, September 2–12, and October 25–November 4
  • Candidates residing within 75 miles of the facility are subject to a local bill rate
