We're seeking Epic Analysts - Ancillary to join our Information Technology team and help optimize the Epic applications that support diagnostic imaging, laboratory and other clinical support services.

Job Description:
Epic Analysts serve as trusted partners to clinical and operational leaders by analyzing workflows, configuring Epic applications, implementing new functionality, and providing ongoing application support. This position focuses on Epic applications that support ancillary clinical departments while ensuring systems are reliable, efficient, and aligned with organizational goals.
Epic Roles Available:
This job posting is intended to gather applications for multiple Epic Analyst positions assigned to this specialty. We are currently seeking analysts with experience or interest in one or more of the following Epic applications:
Laboratory
  • Epic Beaker Clinical Pathology (CP)
  • Epic Beaker Anatomic Pathology (AP)

Imaging & Cardiovascular
  • Epic Radiant (Radiology)
  • Epic Cupid (Cardiology)

Surgical & Procedural Areas
  • Epic OpTime
  • Epic Anesthesia
  • Epic Endoscopy

What You'll Do:
  • Collaborate with ancillary department leaders and end users to evaluate workflows and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Configure, build, test, and implement Epic application enhancements.
  • Troubleshoot application issues and provide ongoing production support.
  • Participate in Epic upgrades, optimization initiatives, and new application implementations.
  • Develop documentation, workflows, testing plans, and end-user training materials.
  • Work closely with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless integration between Epic applications and ancillary clinical systems.
  • Ensure system configurations meet regulatory requirements, accreditation standards, and Epic best practices.
  • Participate in project planning, change management, and go-live support.

Qualifications:
As part of the selection process, candidates will be required to complete the Epic Sphinx Assessment. Assessment results will be considered alongside relevant experience, interview performance, and organizational needs as part of a holistic evaluation process.
Required
  • Epic certification required within 12 months of hire* (domestic travel required to obtain certification).
  • Experience supporting healthcare applications or ancillary clinical operations.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with clinical, operational, and technical teams.

Preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Healthcare Administration, Clinical Informatics, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).

*Employees hired into this role as part of the initial Epic implementation may be hired prior to obtaining Epic certification and will complete required certification through organization-sponsored Epic training.
Compensation Information:
$64,501 - $173,264
The salary range shown reflects the base salary for this position. Individual compensation is determined based on factors such as experience, qualifications, skills, and market considerations.
