Job description

American Traveler is hiring a RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab position requiring a CO or compact RN license and at least 1 year of specialty experience.
Job Details
• Work in the Cardiac Cath Lab of a hospital setting,
• Day shift schedule with 8-hour shifts, five days per week (40 hours/week),
• Uses Epic for clinical documentation,
• May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications,
• May be required to take on-call during a regularly scheduled shift,
Job Requirements
• Active RN license (CO or compact) currently in hand,
• Current certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS, and NRP/PALS as appropriate for unit or service, none expiring prior to start,
• Minimum 1 year of experience in Cardiac Cath Lab specialty required,
• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing (ASN) required, BSN preferred,
• Epic EMR charting experience required,
• Date of birth and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration,
Additional Information
• Perform independent nursing functions and delegated medical duties in accordance with accepted nursing practice standards,
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient nursing care,
• Provide health teaching, counseling, and supportive/restorative therapy to patients,
• Document care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines,
• Refer patients as needed and monitor treatment plans,
• Permanent staff must be separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment
