Job description

Position Title: Imaging Technologist - Weekender Premium Pay Position
Location: Upland Hills Health - Dodgeville Hospital Campus
Role amp; Department: Imaging Technologist in the Imaging Services Department
Hours amp; Shift: Weekend, .6 FTE, Day/Evening Shift (7 a.m. to 7 p.m. shift on Saturday and Sunday)
Role Responsibilities:
  • Perform imaging (Xray and Catscan) procedures for patients with top of the industry equipment
  • Use of multiple computer systems for patient charting-EPIC, PACS, general computer skills.
  • Ensure patient comfort and follow patient safety protocols
  • Participate in Quality initiatives for exceptional patient care
  • Will function as part of the health care team using interdisciplinary approaches in delivering care to patients.
  • Will participate in organizational and departmental CQI activities
  • Will transport and assist patients with proper placement for scans
Qualifications:
  • Graduated from an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology
  • Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
  • Certification and prior experience with performing CT's is required
  • Motivated and Responsible, works well alone and interacts well with other facility departments
  • Current BLS certification is a plus, but we will assist in acquiring
  • Preferably have one year of experience under a Board-Certified Radiologist
  • Prior experience using the EPIC medical record system is preferred but not required

Employment Bonus: This position is eligible for “up to a $5,000.00 Employment Bonus” which is prorated based on the FTE. Bonus payments will be made based on the FTE schedule below:
1.0 FTE $5,000
.9 FTE $4,500
.8 FTE $4,000
.7 FTE $3,500
.6 FTE $3,000
.5 FTE $2,500
The Employment Bonus will be paid out at set times during the first 3 years of employment in 6 separate equal installments. Those respective bonus payments will be made at the following periods: after completion of 6 months, 1 year, 18 months, 2 years, 30 months and a final payment at the 3 year anniversary. This Employment Bonus will be paid for Imaging Technologist positions who are hired at a .5 FTE employment status or greater. The Technologist must continue to be employed at a .5 FTE status or greater at the time each of the bonus payments to be eligible to receive it.
