About the Role & Team

The Walt Disney Company is seeking a strategic, collaborative, and highly driven Manager of Games Partnerships to support key aspects of select key games partnerships and initiatives.

In this high-impact role, you will be an integral part of managing and growing Disney's relationships with internal and external stakeholders, while supporting the vision for Disney's digital initiatives connected to games. You will partner closely with external partners, teams across the broader Disney Games & Digital Entertainment organization, and cross-functional stakeholders across product, legal, content and marketing to bring Disney brands to life in games for fans around the world.

This role is ideal for a communicative, relationship-driven, problem-solving professional who thrives at the intersection of games, IP, and partnerships, and can effectively contribute to multiple projects end-to-end in a fast-paced environment.

This position reports to the Director, Partnerships & Commercialization for Disney Games & Digital Entertainment.

This is a full-time role

What You Will Do
  • Support day-to-day account management, ensuring alignment across the partnerships' shared objectives, timelines, and KPIs, while overseeing the execution of priority projects and initiatives.

  • Help shape and evolve the commercial strategy for games and experiences, including business models, deal structures, monetization frameworks, and go-to-market planning.

  • Drive cross-functional coordination across Games & Digital Entertainment product, legal, production and marketing teams to anticipate business needs and facilitate contract drafting and deal negotiation, to ensure smooth execution of joint initiatives.

  • Oversee the implementation and application of processes across production, creative, marketing, and other internal Disney stakeholders to ensure collaboration and communication with external partners around business priorities.

  • Track and manage performance metrics across partnerships, including revenue, strategic KPIs, and return on investment, and leverage learnings to propose recommendations to support core business needs and new initiatives.

  • Build strong partnerships across external stakeholders, Disney Games & Digital Entertainment, and broader TWDC teams to support business development initiatives, unlock interdependencies and foster collaboration.

Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in business development or partnerships, with a strong track record in games, streaming, or entertainment industries.

  • Experience negotiating, structuring, and executing complex deals, including co-development, licensing, and commercial agreements in the gaming or entertainment space, preferred.

  • Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to translate qualitative and quantitative data into actionable goals.

  • Deep understanding of the games industry ecosystem, including live service operations, UGC, monetization models, and platform dynamics preferred.

  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills, with an ability to articulate complex strategic initiatives to partners and internal stakeholders in a thoughtful and persuasive manner.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, while managing multiple high-priority initiatives with accelerated timelines through proactive problem solving and goal-oriented strategic approach

  • Passion for Disney storytelling, innovation in digital entertainment, and building world-class interactive experiences.

Education
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience, MBA preferred.

The hiring range for this position in Glendale, CA is $115,500 to $154,800 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
