EPA-Certified Maintenance Technician


Hire Priority Staffing is seeking an experienced EPA-Certified Maintenance Technician for a multifamily apartment community in Houston, TX. This is a great opportunity for a dependable, hands-on maintenance professional who can respond to service requests, support unit turns, and help keep the community clean, functional, and resident-ready.


We are looking for someone with strong apartment maintenance experience who can troubleshoot issues efficiently, work well with residents and team members, and deliver quality service in a fast-paced property environment.


Job Details:

  • Pay: $24 per hour
  • Position: Temporary
  • Location: Houston, TX US 77578
  • Schedule: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Monday - Friday)


Responsibilities:

  • Complete resident service requests in a timely and professional manner
  • Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliance, and general maintenance issues
  • Support make ready work and help prepare vacant units for new resident move-in
  • Perform preventative maintenance and general repair tasks as assigned
  • Work closely with property management and maintenance staff to prioritize daily work orders
  • Provide excellent customer service to residents while completing maintenance tasks
  • Assist with general property upkeep and additional maintenance support as needed


Qualifications:

  • EPA certification required
  • Previous apartment maintenance experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, and general maintenance repairs
  • Make ready experience is a plus
  • Must be dependable, organized, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills required
  • Must be able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Must be able to provide valid identification, proof of authorization to work in the United States, and complete the application and interview process
