Job Title: Environmental Services Associate

Employment Type: PRN Non-benefited (will be scheduled to work as needed)

Shift: Day (Weekends) - 7:00 am - 3:00 pm (Friday, Saturday & Sunday)

Location: Nazareth Hospital, Philadelphia, PA

Position Purpose:

The EVS Associate provides environmental support to the hospital. The focus of the EVS Associate is to ensure a safe and clean environment.

As an "Environmental Services Technician" you will:

  • Responsible for all general cleaning tasks in their assigned area of the hospital

  • Promotes sanitary conditions, which prevents the spread of infection and odors.

  • May be required to perform tasks, which involve exposure to visible blood contamination or reasonably anticipated blood contamination. Similar duties may also extend to the Medical Office Building, other buildings and the adjacent grounds of the Medical Center's premises.

  • Responds rapidly and thoroughly to emergencies, special needs, spills, etc.

  • Performs other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

  • HS Diploma or equivalency (preferred)
