Job description

Disability Rights Michigan (DRM) has an immediate full-time (37.5 hours per week) Program Assistant position in the Lansing office. This position is required to be in the office Monday-Friday. The Program Assistant provides administrative support to the various teams within DRM.

Federal Student Loan Forgiveness Qualified


Duties included are not limited to:

• Assists teams by giving and requesting information to clients, service providers and others as directed by team members

• Opening, setting up and maintaining case files, and database.

• Requesting records and sending out required agreements to clients.

• Drafting and typing routine correspondence.

• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, One Drive, Teams, and SharePoint


This position offers an engaging work environment where organizational skills and professional communication are valued. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting our team’s success through efficient administrative operations.

Three years of progressively responsible administrative support, human services, and disability rights experience; or any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities. Associates degree preferred. Two to four years of related secretarial experience. Successfully complete background check.
