CityPickle is a dynamic and rapidly growing sport and lifestyle brand based in New York City. Our mission is to spread the joy of pickleball and put a paddle in the hand of every urban dweller. We specialize in operating both permanent, indoor pickleball clubs as well as high-profile, seasonal activations.
Boca Paddle by CityPickle, slated to open in mid-November, is a premier racquet sports and lifestyle destination redefining how people play, connect, and unwind. Located in Boca Raton, the club blends world-class pickleball and padel with elevated hospitality, offering member-driven experience anchored by exceptional service, vibrant community, and best-in-class facilities.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a creative, data-driven Marketing Manager to lead Boca Paddle's marketing efforts across all customer touchpoints, spanning digital channels and grassroot community marketing efforts. This role will devise and execute Boca Paddle's marketing strategy. The Marketing Manager will lead integrated marketing initiatives spanning email, social media, paid media, and community-driven outreach, ensuring clear, consistent messaging across the customer journey with the goal of driving engagement and brand awareness for Boca Paddle.
The role will report to Boca Paddle's General Manager and will work cross-functionally with Assistant Managers, Events Lead and Head of Racquets to translate business priorities into coordinated marketing efforts and assess performance to inform future planning. The Marketing Manager will also work closely with CityPickle's Marketing Team and Partnerships Team to ensure sponsorship obligations are met and partner brands are amplified.
Responsibilities:
  • Deliver Boca Paddle's overall marketing strategy, supporting initiatives that drive awareness, engagement, and participation.
  • Plan and execute marketing campaigns across all channels, including email, social media, paid media, and local marketing outreach.
  • Ensure alignment with brand guidelines in all communications.
  • Plan, write, and publish a weekly Club email to membership. Work closely with the General Manager, Assistant Managers, Events Lead, and Head of Racquets to ensure Club priorities are clearly communicated.
  • Plan, compose and publish regular social media posts to build brand awareness and drive engagement.
  • Plan and manage onsite content collection, including photography and video, to support marketing communications.
  • Work closely with Boca Paddle Management and CityPickle to devise and manage HubSpot CRM campaigns, audience segmentation, and automated workflows.
  • Maintain clean data practices and reporting to support open rates and engagement.
  • Track and evaluate performance across campaigns and channels, translating data into insights and actionable recommendations.
  • Develop and optimize paid media campaigns across Meta, Google, TikTok, and emerging channels to drive bookings, memberships, and event revenue.
  • Manage Boca Paddle's website to optimize the customer experience and ensure its effectiveness as a marketing tool.
  • Work closely with Boca Paddle Management to devise and execute community outreach to reach new audiences, driving Membership and Event sales.

Skills & Qualifications:
  • Outstanding Writing Skills: Excellent and proven copywriting and communication skills, with experience writing clear, on-brand marketing copy across email and other customer-facing channels.
  • Strategic & Creative: Entrepreneurial and hands-on mindset, with the ability to combine creative problem-solving, strong messaging, and brand intuition with a willingness to test new ideas, execute grassroots outreach, and support community-driven marketing efforts.
  • HubSpot Proficiency: Ideal candidate has experience using HubSpot for CRM management, segmentation, reporting, and automation workflows. Eagerness to master HubSpot is key.
  • Technical Skills: Working proficiency with Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, Google Analytics, and attribution tools.
  • Social Media Aptitude: Demonstrated mastery of social media, particularly Instagram, for business and/or personal use.
  • Analytical Strength: Ability to interpret performance data, build insights-driven strategies, and clearly communicate recommendations.
  • Project Management: Strong ability to manage multiple campaigns, deadlines, and priorities in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Flexibility: Adaptable, proactive, and comfortable wearing multiple hats in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Experience: 5+ years in growth, performance, or generalist marketing roles.
