This full-time position offers a salary range of $90,000 to $100,000 annually, depending on the number of hours worked. As a mental health professional, you will be instrumental in providing effective counseling services primarily to low-acuity adult clients through a telehealth platform, ensuring they receive the support they need in a convenient manner.

About the Organization

Allied Mental Healthcare Pte. Ltd. is a reputable provider of telehealth services, focused on making mental health care accessible to individuals who may not otherwise seek assistance. By leveraging technology, we aim to deliver high-quality, compassionate care from the comfort of clients' homes. Our mission is to destigmatize mental health treatment and provide our clients with the tools they need to improve their mental well-being.

Work Environment

This position is entirely remote, allowing you the flexibility to create your own schedule while working from the comfort of your home. We value work-life balance and provide options for both full-time (over 30 hours per week) and part-time (over 5 hours per week) arrangements. Our advanced telehealth platform is user-friendly, making it easy for you to conduct video sessions while minimizing administrative burdens, thus allowing you to focus on client care.

Key Responsibilities

As a Mental Health Counselor, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Providing empathetic and ethical mental health counseling via video chat, adapting counseling techniques to meet each client's unique needs.
  • Conducting comprehensive assessments to evaluate client status, and developing personalized treatment plans to guide their progress.
  • Applying evidence-based techniques to help clients improve their coping mechanisms, problem-solving skills, and interpersonal communications.
  • Engaging in ongoing communication with clients to monitor their progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
  • Staying current on best practices in mental health care and participating in professional development opportunities offered by the organization.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary focus of your counseling efforts will be stabilizing and supporting low-acuity adults who may be experiencing manageable mental health challenges. This population includes clients who are seeking to enhance their coping strategies, manage mild anxiety or depression, or navigate life transitions. Your role will be vital in empowering clients to regain control over their mental health and foster resilience.

Qualifications

To qualify for this position, you must meet the following criteria:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Possession of a current state license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LCPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LCMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
  • Independent licensure that allows you to operate without supervision.
  • No history of disciplinary actions on your professional license.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, as well as proficiency with technology, particularly in virtual communication platforms.
  • A stable internet connection capable of supporting video conferencing.
Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, preference will be given to candidates with prior experience in telehealth or remote counseling settings, especially those who have worked with a similar client demographic. Experience with treatment modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) will also be beneficial.

Compensation and Benefits

In addition to a competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $100,000 annually, we offer a range of benefits designed to support our counselors:

  • A generous sign-on bonus to welcome new members to our team.
  • Availability of weekly direct deposit for timely payment.
  • Comprehensive health insurance options, including medical, dental, and vision coverage.
  • Rapid onboarding process, with the potential to start working in as little as three days.
  • Supportive work environment that prioritizes employee wellness and development.
Career Growth Opportunities

At Allied Mental Healthcare Pte. Ltd., we are committed to fostering professional development among our team members. We offer opportunities for ongoing training, access to specialized workshops, and pathways for career advancement within the organization. By expanding your skills and knowledge, you can take on leadership roles or develop specific areas of expertise within mental health counseling.

Why Join Our Team
