We are seeking a qualified Senior Environmental Engineer / Geologist located in Rochester or Buffalo, NY

  • Perform a wide range of environmental engineering analysis and design tasks related to planning, environmental site investigation (subsurface and hazardous materials), remediation design, and remedial operations
  • Coordination and presentation of planning & design submissions with clients and environmental regulatory agencies
  • Perform and manage site investigations to observe and document existing conditions
  • Supervise the development of project plans, design calculations, specifications, and coordinate with other disciplines as required to deliver quality engineering services
  • Complete and review planning documents and design calculations; assist in the preparation of bid packages, design drawings and technical specifications
  • Provide responses and solutions to technical and contractual issues during projects
  • Utilize a broad assortment of technical and project management skills on projects that range from small site restorations to large scale new construction 
  • Engage with existing clients to expand our services and pursue new clients to support growth of the environmental business in the region
  • Assist in the preparation of proposals for environmental consulting services
  • Attend industry and business development functions as a representative of the firm
  • Mentor and develop junior engineering staff

  • Bachelors degree in Environmental Engineering, Geology, or Science
  • 10+ years’ experience in Environmental Engineering/Environmental Consulting
  • NY PE or PG Preferred
  • Ability to provide guidance to junior level engineers and scientists
  • Understanding and application of environmental regulations, hazardous materials handling and disposal requirements
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and consistently meet deadlines
