Job description

Construction Foreman- Hardscape

Company Overview

Peak Environmental is a landscape design and construction company based in Round Lake, NY, serving Saratoga County and surrounding communities for nearly 30 years. We build high-quality outdoor spaces with a focus on craftsmanship, teamwork, safety, and completing work our crews can be proud of.

We are a full-time, year-round organization that invests in our people and offers experienced field leaders the chance to grow into more advanced construction and leadership roles over time.

The Opportunity

If you currently lead a landscape construction crew and are wondering what your next step could look like, this is an opportunity to move into hardscape construction and outdoor living projects without starting over. You will use the leadership skills you already have while learning more about patios, walkways, retaining walls, paver installation, stonework, and outdoor living construction.

This full-time, year-round Construction Crew Leader position puts you at the center of a growing construction team. You will work hands-on in the field, lead and organize daily operations, and help deliver hardscape projects that homeowners notice and appreciate.

What You'll Do
  • Lead and work alongside a construction crew on hardscape and outdoor living projects throughout Round Lake, Saratoga County, and surrounding communities.
  • Organize daily job-site priorities, materials, tools, and workflow so the crew can work safely and efficiently from start to finish.
  • Communicate clearly with crew members, helping them understand daily goals, next steps, and quality expectations.
  • Maintain safe, clean, and professional job sites that reflect well on the crew and the company.
  • Monitor workmanship and details throughout each project, addressing issues early to keep quality and timelines on track.
What Success Looks Like
  • Within the first 36 months, you are confidently leading a crew through day-to-day hardscape construction tasks while meeting production and quality targets.
  • Job sites are organized and safe, with tools, materials, and people where they need to be, resulting in minimal downtime and rework.
  • Projects are completed on schedule with workmanship that meets Peak Environmental standards and earns positive feedback from supervisors and clients.
  • Your crew works as a cohesive, professional team that stays productive, communicates well, and represents the company positively on every job.
What We're Looking For
  • Proven experience leading a landscape construction crew of any size, including directing people, organizing work, and keeping projects moving.
  • Hands-on landscape construction background with pride in quality workmanship, attention to detail, and a safety-first mindset.
  • Clear, respectful communicator who can work effectively alongside the crew you lead and support a positive team environment.
  • Reliable, consistent work habits with the ability to manage daily priorities, solve field challenges, and adapt to changing conditions.
Compensation and Benefits
  • Health insurance
  • Dental insurance
  • Vision insurance
  • 401(k)
  • Paid time off
  • Full-time, year-round employment
  • MondayFriday, day-shift, 10-hour shifts with no weekend work
How to Apply
