Job description

The salary range for this role is $60,000 to $75,000.

Nature and Scope

  • Perform routine and preventive maintenance on various equipment, including crushers, grinders, kilns, and material handling systems to ensure optimal operation and minimize downtime.
  • Identify, diagnose, and resolve mechanical issues affecting production. Use problem-solving skills to implement effective solutions to recurring problems.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, and parts usage. Contribute to the development of maintenance schedules and procedures.
  • Work closely with senior personnels and other departments to coordinate maintenance activities and improve operational efficiency. Participate in team meetings to discuss projects and progress.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols while performing maintenance duties. Participate in safety drills and contribute to fostering a safety-conscious work environment.
  • Support ongoing projects, such as equipment upgrades or installations, by providing technical input and assistance during implementation.
  • Continuous seeking opportunities for professional development to enhance skills and knowledge in maintenance engineering practices and cement production processes.
  • Assist in planning major shutdown work requests with a high degree of specialization, regarding instructions, human resources estimate, materials, special tools, and estimated duration of jobs.
  • And other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

Education: Education: Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Recent graduates are encouraged to apply.

Technical Skills: Basic understanding of mechanical systems, electrical systems, and instrumentation. Familiarity with CAD software or other engineering tools is a plus.

Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze problems, develop solutions, and implement changes effectively. Strong attention to detail.

Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work well in a team environment and interact effectively with colleagues, supervisors, and other departments.

Required Work Experience: Entry level.

Required Computer and Software Skills: Tabware, AutoCAD, Project, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

Travel Requirements: 0 - 10%
