IMMEDIATE HIRING

THIS IS AN ENTRY-LEVEL POSITION

We pride ourselves on creating the best yards and lawns for Leisure World using top-notch landscaping designs, and with you as a dedicated landscaper on our team, we will continue to provide high-quality service. You will have the opportunity to use your creativity as you assist in bringing landscaping designs to life through planting, trimming, and mowing. You will nurture lawns and plants for Leisure World through watering, feeding, and other necessary tasks to keep them healthy and looking great. Foster team unity as you work together to build new lawns and manage existing ones while also interacting with residents and using your excellent customer service skills to keep them happy.

Schedule

  • Monday - Friday

Essential Functions

  • Perform groundskeeping maintenance.
  • Mow lawn either by hand or using a riding lawnmower.
  • Cut lawn using hand, power, or riding mower and trim and edge around walks, flower beds, and walls.
  • Landscape by planting flowers, grass, shrubs, and bushes.
  • Apply pesticide to rid grounds of pests such as mosquitos, wasps, ticks, and others.
  • Apply fertilizer to the ground to enhance growth.
  • Sweep walkway of debris.
  • Cut down tree limbs that are posing a danger.
  • Trim shrubs and pull weeds.
  • Rake, mulch, and prune the grounds as needed.
  • Water plants and grass as needed and apply fertilizer.
  • Regular attendance and punctuality.
  • Any other duties as assigned by management.

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • At least 1-year experience with a commercial landscape company.
