Job description

Description We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Youth Cheerleading Coach to lead our cheer squads. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and a strong foundation in cheerleading techniques. This role involves instructing practice sessions, choreographing routines, and preparing teams for performances and competitions.

Examples of Duties Lead and supervise weekly cheerleading practices, ensuring a safe and engaging environment. Choreograph age-appropriate routines that incorporate cheers, stunts, and dance elements. Instruct athletes on proper techniques, including jumps, stunts, and tumbling.

Prepare teams for local performances and competitions. Foster a positive team culture that promotes respect, discipline, and enthusiasm. Ensure all safety protocols are followed during practices and events.

*This role may involve evening and weekend work to accommodate practice and game schedules. *This role is outdoor work, sometimes in various weather conditions. Qualifications Previous cheerleading experience (competitive or recreational) is required.

Experience working with children, particularly ages 4-15. Ability to commit to one evening per week for coaching sessions. Must be 16 years or older.

Enthusiastic, positive attitude with a strong desire to mentor young athletes. Supplemental Information $20.00/Hr. Applications are open until filled
