The job of Teacher - Special Education, Mild/Moderate Support Needs is done for the purpose/s of providing instruction, assessment and program planning for special education students with specific learning disabilities, mild to moderate support needs, other health impaired disorders, autism, intellectual disabilities, multiple disabilities, orthopedic impairment, other health impaired, and serious emotional disturbances; monitoring and evaluating student progress and behavior; researching, obtaining and providing instructional materials for special education services; serving as a resource for students, parent, District personnel and community organizations and working within a pull-out Learning Center environment or within a self-contained classroom.
