About the Shop:

Mike's Motor Zone is a high-integrity, customer-focused independent repair facility serving domestic, Asian, and European vehicles. The shop operates 3 bays and 3 lifts, averaging 45–50 vehicles per week, with an average repair order of ~$800.

Leadership includes a Master Technician serving as General Manager, creating a strong technically driven environment focused on consistency, efficiency, and development. This is not a true entry-level training shop — we are looking for technicians with real-world shop experience who want to continue growing their skillset through mentorship and structured development.

Location:

Lancaster, PA

Schedule:

Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
No weekends

Your Role:

  • Perform maintenance and light to mid-level repairs: oil changes, brakes, suspension, and routine services
  • Perform PA State Inspection & Emissions testing (required)
  • Assist senior technicians on diagnostics and complex repairs
  • Perform digital vehicle inspections and clearly communicate findings
  • Continue developing skills through hands-on mentorship and training

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of recent or current professional automotive shop experience (required)
  • Valid PA State Inspection & Emissions license
  • Strong foundation in automotive maintenance and repair
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-based environment
  • Positive attitude with a desire to grow into higher-level diagnostic work
