  • Own and utilize PROST to config check and approve tools that have changed p/n, workscope and/or function to maintain operational config check and tool list readiness using engine/airframe manuals, CRTL’s, OEM Scorecards, CIDs, Drawings, etc.

  • Conduct Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) design change reviews versus open orders and as applicable versus shipped orders and provide relevant technical disposition to/for the customer.

  • Be the tooling focal interface with OEM support equipment engineering organizations, such as SEE, NESS, for the assigned engine programs.

  • Resolve supplier and customer GSE and tooling technical related questions on blueprints and specifications by technical interpretation.

  • Internal technical support activities will be related to tool usage, engine application, operation, maintenance and storage of tools in alignment with the OEM databases and supporting Engine Manuals and other technical documents.

  • When opportunities/conflicts are discovered, effectively communicate and resolve with applicable OEM organizations and other relevant team members.

  • Support Sales, Services and Quality activities as necessary to ensure positive customer experience.

  • Own and lead timely technical issue resolution by using OEM processes including Source Problem Report (SPR), Customer Problem Report (CPR), and RH Aero Tool Query Report (TQR) system.

  • Contribute to EU CE/UK CA certification and RH Aero cost automation processes through review and validation of required data (e.g., weight and dimensions).

  • Travel up to 10% annually to support customer and OEM campaigns, and deliver support across GSE and tooling-related areas as required.

  • Support other responsibilities as assigned.

Qualification & Experience:

  • Be able to demonstrate an in-depth working knowledge or equivalent experience of GSE and tooling for GE/CFM and/or RR Large, Medium and Small Turbine Engines, Architecture, Systems, Components, Processes and Operations.

  • 4-year technical degree or 10+ years of progressive experience with GSE and tooling.

  • Prior experience performing maintenance and or test cell work on Rolls-Royce and GE/CFM engines and related support equipment is considered a plus.

  • An additional plus will include prior experience performing maintenance and or test cell work on Aeroderivative type, and/or Pratt & Whitney turbine engines.

  • Strong project management, planning, organizational, leadership, oral and written communication skills.

  • Be able to demonstrate good problem-solving skills.

  • Have good attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Must be able to read and interpret all OEM tooling blueprints and specifications.

  • Read, understand and translate into current configuration, all OEM requirements for Airframe OEM and Gas Turbine Engine OEM Technical and Maintenance publications, service bulletins, drawings, models and process sheets.

  • Ability to multi-task (simultaneous diverse customer activity), combined with a demonstrated ability to work as a team player.

  • Computer literate in MS-Office (Excel, Word, Power Point) and ERP systems (Epicor).

  • Articulate and effective communicator with the ability to influence others through the employment of sound judgment and good sense rather than the use of authority.

  • This role is based in Mason, OH.
