Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated IT Support Intern to join our IT department. The successful candidate will provide technical support to end-users through a ticketing system while gaining hands-on experience in IT troubleshooting and support operations. This internship offers valuable exposure to real-world IT environments and professional development under the mentorship of our IT Support Lead.
Primary Responsibilities
  • Create, manage, and resolve support tickets in the IT ticketing system
  • Provide technical troubleshooting support to end-users via phone, email, and in-person
  • Diagnose and resolve common hardware and software issues
  • Document and track support tickets accurately, including problem description and resolution
  • Assist with user account creation, password resets, and access permissions
  • Perform basic system maintenance and troubleshooting
  • Escalate complex issues to the IT Support Lead or senior technical staff

Required Qualifications
  • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a computer science, information technology, or related program
  • Strong foundational knowledge of computer hardware and software
  • Proficiency with Windows operating systems
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities
  • Ability to remain calm and problem-solve under pressure
  • Reliable and professional demeanor with a willingness to learn

Preferred Qualifications
