What does an entry level tech do?

Entry Level Techs often start by assisting with hardware and software installations, troubleshooting basic technical issues, and supporting end-users with routine IT questions. They may also be involved in setting up new equipment, performing regular system maintenance, and documenting technical procedures. Collaboration with more experienced technicians and IT teams is common, providing opportunities to learn best practices and gradually take on more complex tasks as confidence and skills develop.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as an entry level tech, and why are they important?

Job description

Associate Account Executive

At Coram AI, we're reimagining video security for the modern world. Our cloud-native platform uses computer vision and AI to help businesses stay safe, make smarter decisions, and move faster; from real-time alerts to seamless clip sharing and multi-site visibility.

You'll be joining an ambitious, fast-moving team that values clarity, craftsmanship, and impact. Every person here has a voice, ships meaningful work, and helps shape how AI can make the world safer and more connected.

About the Role

Coram AI is hiring an Associate Account Executive to join our growing sales team. This is an entry-level technology sales role designed for ambitious early-career professionals looking to build a career in AI, SaaS, and B2B sales.

Our accelerated AAE program combines the best parts of a Sales Development Representative (SDR), Business Development Representative (BDR), and Account Executive role. You'll work directly with experienced Account Executives on live deals, build and own pipeline through outbound prospecting, develop your sales skills, and work toward promotion into a full-cycle Account Executive role within 6 months, compared with the traditional 12 year SDR-to-AE path.

You'll learn how to prospect, qualify opportunities, run sales conversations, build pipeline, and sell Coram AI's physical security platform to businesses across the U.S.

Coram AI is building the operating system for physical security in the AI era, bringing video security, access control, environmental monitoring, and guest management together into one intelligent platform.

Our Fall 2026 Associate Account Executive cohort starts September 14, 2026.

Responsibilities
  • Build and qualify pipeline through targeted, strategic prospecting
  • Partner with senior AEs on live deals, from discovery to close
  • Participate in and help deliver product demos to prospects and partners
  • Understand and uncover customer needs and business problems to effectively communicate how Coram can solve them
  • Master Coram's platform and learn how to sell value
  • Consistently outperform assigned goals and earn your promotion to a full-cycle Account Executive title
  • Ability to understand complex business environments and uncover customer issues, process problems, and translate need into business opportunities.
What We're Looking For
  • Bachelor's or Associate's degree, or relevant working experience
  • We're especially interested in college athletes and others with highly competitive backgrounds (military, performing arts, debate, high-level competition, entrepreneurship, etc.) but this is not a requirement to apply
  • A strong work ethic with a focus on winning the right way
  • Motivation to win and a willingness to out-prepare and out-work your competition
  • Intrinsically-driven with the ability to take initiative by default
  • Coachable and curious mindset with the ability to ask questions, take feedback, and apply it to your work
  • Resilient in challenging and fast-paced environments
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Ability to work in an onsite environment

What We Offer:

  • Competitive compensation package ($60,000-$70,000 which includes annual base salary + variable compensation)
  • Clear promotion path from Associate Account Executive to full-cycle Account Executive within 6 months
  • Flexible paid time off and 10 paid holidays
  • Daily team breakfast and dinner, and regular team off-sites
  • The latest Apple products and unlimited tech stack (Claude Cowork, Perplexity Computer, Nooks, Clay, Instantly, etc.)
  • Free onsite EV charging
  • Opportunity to relocate into any of our US offices (SLC, AZ, NYC, or ATL)
  • 100% Employer-paid medical, dental, vision, and base life insurance
  • 401(k) with both Traditional and Roth options
  • Early-stage equity in a rapidly growing company
  • Referral bonuses

We're on a mission to transform a $50B+ legacy industry by bringing the power of cutting-edge multimodal LLMs and computer vision to real-world security and operations. From firearm detection to intelligent access control, our AI-native platform turns every camera and sensor into a smart system that enhances safety, efficiency, and awareness.

Founded by Ashesh Jain (ex-Lyft Level 5, PhD Cornell) and Peter Ondruska (ex-Lyft, PhD Oxford), Coram AI is backed by Ansa Capital, Battery Ventures, Mosaic, 8VC and Up Partners, have raised over $65M, and were named to the CB Insights AI 100 as one of the most promising AI companies in the world. If you're excited to work on mission-critical AI that makes an impact in the real world, we'd love to meet you.
