    Primary Responsibilities

    The HRIS Analyst is responsible for handling daily requests related to the HRIS system and generating reports for HR and management. In this entry-level role, the analyst will support, learn, and maintain HR information systems while creating both ad-hoc and standard reports using HR systems and Excel. The position also involves ensuring project timelines are met, maintaining system functionality, prioritizing technology needs, and assisting with long-term planning. The analyst will serve as a technical point-of-contact for designated functional areas, supporting data integrity, system testing, report writing, and identifying opportunities for process improvements. Additionally, the role includes supporting system upgrades, testing, and other assigned technical projects.

    Essential Functions
    • Support our ATS, HCM, and multiple other vendor integrations.
    • Identifies and recommends reasonable short- and long-term goals, milestones, and benchmarks for key performance metrics.
    • Manage projects and process improvements, including applying change management experience to facilitate movement to new levels of quality.
    • Identifies and understands issues, problems and opportunities.
    • Compare data from different sources to draw conclusions.
    • Use effective approaches for choosing a course of action or developing appropriate solutions.
    • Takes action that is consistent with available facts, constraints and probable consequences.
    • Utilize interpersonal skills when working with various customers and peers to accomplish project goals.
    • Recommend process/customer service improvements, innovative solutions, policy changes and/or major variations from established policy, which must be approved by appropriate leadership prior to implementation.
    • Understand and use qualitative/quantitative measurement and data collection design principles.
    • Perform system maintenance, including assisting in the review, testing and implementation of HR system upgrades, maintaining HR system tables, and document process and results.
    • Provide production support/customer service to internal and external customers, including researching and resolving HR systems issues, unexpected results or process flaws; performing scheduled activities; recommending solutions or alternate methods to meet requirements.
    • Generate reports/queries, including writing maintaining and supporting a variety of reports or queries utilizing HCM and ATS reporting
    • Assist in the development of standard reports for ongoing customer needs.
    • Help maintain data integrity in systems by running queries and analyzing data.
    • Conduct training, including developing user procedures, guidelines and documentation.
    • Train internal clients in new processes/functionality along with assisting in training new system users.
    • Assist in the development and administration of vendor data interfaces.
    • Maintain awareness of current trends in HRMS with a focus on product and service development, delivery and support, AI and applying key technologies.
    • Examine trends in information systems training, materials and techniques through classes, reading, CBTs or other mechanisms, continuously increases both HR knowledge and HR systems application/tools knowledge. Participates in user group meetings/conferences.
    • Other duties and projects as assigned.
    Minimum Requirements, Qualifications, Additional Skills, Aptitude

    SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES:

    • Proficiency with Excel, including writing formulas, VLOOKUP, pivot tables, etc.
    • Strong analytical skills, be resourceful and well organized.
    • Strong time management skills and an ability to effectively manage multiple priorities.
    • Comfortable working with both high level and lower-level projects.
    • Able to perform multi-faceted projects in conjunction with day-to-day activities.
    • Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
    • Proficiency with HR systems such as Dayforce, Workday, Paradox, and Service and to configure and answer questions.
    • Ability to work individually and in a team environment.

     

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

    • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Human Resources or related field.
    • Minimum 2 years of previous, relevant HRIS experience required.
    • Paradox and Workday HCM Experience preferred.
    • Dayforce HCM experience required.
