Key Responsibilities

· Record audio for live shoots, capturing high-quality source material in studio and field environments.

· Run boom microphones and wireless lavaliers, managing placement, levels, and signal quality on set.

· Manage and organize media files, maintaining consistent file structures, naming conventions, and version control.

· Troubleshoot audio equipment and workflows, diagnosing and resolving issues quickly to keep productions on schedule.

· Travel to support filming at offsite events, providing on-location audio capture and event support.

· Collaborate with creative leads and stakeholders to refine audio, implement feedback, and deliver final mixes on schedule.

· Provide additional editing support as needed, contributing to video assembly and delivery during peak production periods.

· Stay current with evolving audio tools, plugins, and postproduction techniques.

Why Join Us

This is an opportunity to bring dedicated audio expertise to a dynamic creative team that shapes the visual and sonic narrative for Microsoft's most visible campaigns and product stories. You'll contribute to content viewed by global audiences, provide critical event and editing support, and collaborate with diverse creative talent, all while honing your craft in a fast-evolving media landscape.

Requirements:

Required:

· Production and post-production audio experience across recording, mixing, and editing.

· Proficiency in Pro Tools and industry-standard plugins.

· Experience running boom microphones and wireless lavaliers on live shoots.

· Strong media file-management skills, with attention to organization and version control.

· Working knowledge of Windows, Microsoft 365, and Copilot.

· Local availability for on-site productions and willingness to travel to offsite events.

· Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.

Preferred:

· Experience with video production, film, editing, or live events.

· Familiarity with enterprise asset management systems and Windows-based production environments.

· Strong desire to learn and a willingness to work on a team.

· Interest in emerging audio technologies and AI-assisted production tools.
