Job Title: Sales & Business Development Trainee

Organization: Tucson Sugar Skulls (Indoor Football League) 

Location: Tucson, AZ (Hybrid/Flexible) 

Type: Educational Internship


The Opportunity

The Tucson Sugar Skulls (Indoor Football League) are expanding our front office. We are looking for driven individuals who want to get their foot in the door, create their own opportunities, and build a permanent track record in professional sports. If you want to learn the actual mechanics of how a franchise builds its business, generates revenue, and scales, this is your entry point.


What You Will Learn & Do

You will work directly alongside the Director of Ticketing and the executive leadership team to learn the architecture of sports business:

  • Business Development: Learn how to identify, research, and connect with high-value prospects within the Tucson market.
  • Sales Infrastructure: Gain hands-on experience utilizing modern Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools and business outreach systems.
  • Pipeline Management: Understand the mechanics of moving a prospect from an initial introduction to a closed corporate partnership or season ticket package.
  • Executive Networking: Operate in an environment that interfaces directly with prominent business executives, community leaders, and ownership groups.
