Physiatrist - Spinal Cord Injury
FULL-TIME PHYSIATRIST (ADULT)- SPINAL CORD INJURY
Grand Rapids, Michigan
Inpatient Acute Rehabilitation & Outpatient Clinic
Physiatrist to provide care for spinal cord injury patients at Mary Free Bed Rehabilitation in Grand Rapids, Michigan- a 187 bed facility (139 acute rehab private rooms and 48 sub-acute private rooms). Mary Free Bed Rehabilitation Hospital ranked as the 9th best rehabilitation hospital in the country by U.S. News and World Report for 2025-2026 and is a Spinal Cord Injury Model System. Position would be a combination of caring for inpatient and outpatient spinal cord injury patient population. Opportunity to work with Mary Free Bed PM&R residents and medical students. Position will be Monday-Friday, with a weekend call requirement (1 in 8).
GRAND RAPIDS, MI
ESSENTIAL JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
M.D. or D.O. degree
State of Michigan medical license
Board certified or board eligible in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation
Completion of spinal cord injury fellowship ideal
