As of Jul 8, 2026, the average hourly pay for entry level sourcer in the United States is $37.29, according to ZipRecruiter salary data. Most workers in this role earn between $24.04 and $47.36 per hour, depending on experience, location, and employer.

What jobs pay 4000 a week without a degree?

Entry-level sourcing roles or sales positions in industries like real estate, insurance, or high-ticket sales can sometimes pay $4,000 a week through commissions and bonuses, especially for those with strong communication skills and sales experience. These jobs often require persistence, networking, and knowledge of sales tools but may not require a formal degree.

What are some common challenges faced by entry level sourcers, and how can they overcome them?

Entry level sourcers often face challenges such as identifying qualified candidates in a competitive market, learning how to effectively use sourcing tools, and managing a high volume of outreach. To overcome these, it's important to develop strong Boolean search skills, familiarize yourself with different sourcing platforms (like LinkedIn and Indeed), and refine your communication to engage candidates effectively. Seeking feedback from more experienced team members and staying up-to-date with industry best practices can also help you grow quickly in the role.

What jobs pay $700 a day?

Entry level sourcers typically do not earn $700 a day; such high daily rates are more common in specialized or freelance roles like consultants, contractors, or recruiters with extensive experience. High-paying roles often require advanced skills, certifications, or a strong network, and may involve project-based or commission-based compensation structures. Most entry-level sourcing positions offer hourly wages or salaries below this threshold.

What is the 70 30 rule in hiring?

The 70/30 rule in hiring suggests that recruiters should spend approximately 70% of their time sourcing and engaging candidates, and 30% on screening and interviewing. For an Entry Level Sourcer, this emphasizes the importance of proactive candidate sourcing and building a strong talent pipeline using tools like applicant tracking systems and social media platforms.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as an Entry Level Sourcer, and why are they important?

To thrive as an Entry Level Sourcer, you need strong research abilities, attention to detail, and a basic understanding of recruitment practices, often supported by a bachelor’s degree or relevant coursework. Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS), LinkedIn Recruiter, and job boards is typically required. Excellent communication, persistence, and organizational skills help you build relationships with candidates and collaborate with recruiters. These skills ensure efficient identification and engagement of top talent, which is critical to meeting hiring goals.

What are Entry Level Sourcers?

Entry Level Sourcers are professionals who assist organizations in finding and identifying potential candidates for job openings, usually at the initial stages of the recruitment process. They typically research and reach out to passive candidates, screen resumes, and build talent pipelines under the guidance of more experienced recruiters. This role is often an entry point into the recruiting field, providing valuable experience with sourcing tools, candidate assessment, and recruitment strategies.
