Job description

Kaeppel Consulting is looking for a Sr. Software Engineer with performance test engineering skillsets. This is an onsite position at Erie, PA for 1 year.
Performance engineer working on highly complex migration efforts and overarching application work. Assist in leading core team to successful outcomes by leveraging overall technology, core integration knowledge and fundamental understandings. Will provide the enterprise technology office with signoffs for PEGT and CAB through a streamlined process, ensuring the delivery of high-quality work.
This is an opportunity for a Senior Software Engineer to join the Performance Testing team, with an IT enterprise core integration focus. You will support several key initiatives, which may include but are not limited to Billing V3, Customer Service new applications, and the Data team. These areas are leveraging new ways of working, such as, with AWS migrations and overarching application work among multiple technical platforms.
o Preferred Experience & Skills
• LoadRunner Enterprise or similar load testing tool knowledge and exposure
• Experience with validating application interactions and dependencies across areas within a single environment
• Participation and/or process ownership in a quality review function(e.g. PEGT, CAB)
• Gathering and defining performance test requirements
• Integrated Requirements Management Practices(specific use of Jira, Gitlab, and/or ServiceNow a bonus)
