• Conduct comprehensive assessments to gain a deep understanding of clients' mental health concerns, which includes formulating clinical diagnoses and creating individualized treatment plans based on client needs.
• Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions using a variety of evidence-based therapeutic modalities tailored to each client's unique situation and recovery goals.
• Provide crisis intervention and support for clients experiencing acute mental health crises, ensuring immediate and appropriate care and stabilization as required.
• Maintain accurate and confidential client records, including detailed treatment plans, session notes, and assessment results, adhering to ethical and legal standards for documentation.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals—including psychiatrists, social workers, and nurses—to ensure a comprehensive and holistic approach to client care.
• Educate clients and their families on mental health concerns, treatment options, and resources, advocating for their rights and needs within the healthcare system.
• Engage in continuous professional development by attending workshops, training sessions, and staying abreast of the latest best practices in mental health therapy.

You will work with a varied clientele that includes children, adolescents, adults, and families experiencing a broad spectrum of mental health issues, such as anxiety disorders, depression, relationship challenges, trauma, and life transitions. This demographic diversity enriches the therapeutic experience, allowing for tailored interventions and shared learning.

• Licensed as a Mental Health Therapist (LMFT, LCPC, LCSW) in Illinois.
• Hold a master's or doctoral degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field accredited by relevant educational bodies.
• Exhibit strong clinical assessment and diagnostic capabilities, alongside the ability to create actionable treatment plans.
• Possess a minimum of two years of related professional experience in mental health counseling or a clinical setting.
• Demonstrate excellent communication, empathy, and interpersonal skills, vital for establishing rapport with clients.
• Display the ability to work autonomously while also being an effective collaborator within a team environment.
• Exhibit a commitment to maintaining the highest ethical and professional standards throughout all aspects of practice.

• Previous experience in a clinical setting is preferred but not required for entry-level positions.
• Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and virtual communication tools is advantageous.
• Demonstrated success in delivering both therapeutic and psychoeducational services.
