Job description

Bring your expertise in speech-language pathology to an engaging, supportive school-based role for the upcoming 2024-2025 academic year. This full-time or part-time contract opportunity is located onsite near Golden Valley, Minnesota, within easy reach of Eden Prairie. You'll have the flexibility to shape your ideal caseload-whether your passion is working with younger students, focusing on evaluations, managing IEPs, or conducting testing.
Qualifications & Requirements:

  • U.S. work authorization is mandatory
  • Active Speech-Language Pathologist licensure for the state of Minnesota
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or candidates in their Clinical Fellowship Year welcome
  • Experience in school-based settings or with pediatric populations highly preferred
  • Familiarity with completing evaluations, leading IEP meetings, documenting progress, and evidence-based therapy approaches
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities with students, families, and school teams
Role Responsibilities:
  • Deliver direct speech-language therapy services to students across a preferred caseload
  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments and develop individualized education programs (IEPs)
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute insights for student success
  • Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and families to implement and monitor IEP goals
  • Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with school and district policies
  • Engage in ongoing professional development and stay current with best practices
