Job description

BTS Software Solutions is seeking an Operational Language Analyst 1 to support operations in Hanover, Maryland.
The Operational Language Analyst will perform tasks required to process voice and/or graphic language materials in support of SIGINT Operations.
Primary Location: Fort Meade, Maryland
Secondary Locations: None
Clearance Requirement: TS/SCI with Poly
Desired Languages:
  • Chinese-Mandarin
  • Kanuri
  • Somali
  • Spanish

Minimum Requirements:
  • At least 2 of the years of full-time experience
  • Interagency Language Roundtable (ILR) skill level 2 in audio translation and/or text translation from the required language into idiomatic, standard American English or 2 in listening and/or reading on the DLPT
  • 2 years performing crypto language processing - scanning, recovering EEIs, gisting, translating/transcribing, compiling working aids and databases.
  • 1 year of the 2 years as a primary duty conducting translation, transcriptions, and gisting.

Education and Experience:
Entry level positions require a high school diploma or GED or equivalent from other countries.
(Pay ranges are required for Maryland, Colorado and Hawaii)
Pay Range: $85,000 to $110,000 full Salary range lowest to highest across locations
