SIGINT SME

This position requires an active TS/Sensitive Compartmental Information (SCI) clearance.

A government contract requires that this position be restricted to U.S. citizens or legal permanent residents.  You must provide documentation that you are a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident to qualify.

Cherokee Insights is seeking a SIGINT SME to support USSOCOM.

SIGINT SME Responsibilities Include: 

  • Researches, identifies, and fuses available intelligence from all intelligence disciplines – HUMINT, SIGINT, GEOINT, OSINT/PAI, Cyber, and military reconnaissance – to draw conclusions, make inferences, and develop deep understanding spanning tactical to strategic relevance within their assigned portfolio. 
  • The SIGINT Intelligence Analyst will then use those conclusions, inferences, and deep understanding to coordinate with the National Security Agency and other Signals agencies across the Intelligence Community, to drive the intelligence cycle, to collaborate with counterparts in the Intel Community, to inform current/future operations, and to advise operational decision-makers.
  • Coordinate SIGINT procedures with internal and external SIGINT activities to ensure the collection, dissemination, and/or precision geo-location activities adhere to guidance and appropriate directives. 
  • Coordinate with the tactical and national SIGINT collection and collection requirements community, to include NRO and the NSA collection and signal development (SIGDEV) organizations, to ensure customer equities are understood and met.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned

SIGINT SME Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested: 

  • Current Top-Secret clearance and SCI adjudicated.

  • Minimum of eight (8) years analytical experience within DoD or equivalent Government agencies required, with five (5) years at the operational level.

  • Advanced SIGINT knowledge to identify and or confirm individuals, organizations, facilities, locations, trends, or patterns of interest associated with a high value target or network of interest in a collaborative environment.

  • High level of proficiency with NSA and other SIGINT analytical databases covering both DNR and DNI related technologies.

  • Shall be proficient in utilizing basic computer applications and established SIGINT related databases to support analytical efforts and product development.

  • Shall possess strong briefing skills.

  • Shall have a high level of proficiency with National Security Agency (NSA) and other SIGINT analytical databases covering both Dial Network Recognition (DNR) and Digital Network Intelligence (DNI) related technologies.

  • Strong background and firsthand experience are required in SIGINT analysis, SIGINT systems, tools, and databases, reporting and collection management.

  • Working knowledge of the most current SIGINT systems, databases and software tools.

  • Acute knowledge of SOF and or CT/counter proliferation intelligence experience.

  • Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal
