Job description

Ardaman & Associates, Inc. is one of the largest geotechnical engineering and materials testing consulting firms in the Southeastern U.S. Over our history, we have worked on more than 150,000 projects throughout the Southeast, the U.S., and worldwide. This vast list of project experience includes services for virtually every type of public and private client associated with industrial, commercial and infrastructure projects.

Ardaman has the following opportunity available in Shreveport, Louisiana:

CONSTRUCTION MATERIALS TESTING TECHNICIAN

Full-time entry level position performing sampling/testing of soils, concrete, and asphalt materials on construction projects throughout our North Louisiana / East Texas service area. Typical duties require 80 to 90 percent of time be spent performing tasks at field locations. Will train.

Qualifications:

Candidate must be currently authorized to work in the United States and have a High School Diploma or equivalent. Must have good math skills, good organizational skills, a good attitude, and get along well in a team environment and be safety minded in all aspects of his work. Must be willing to work weekends and extended hours as required to meet project schedules; be able to lift, carry, push, and pull equipment weighing up to 50 lbs. and have a safe driving record. Individual should be physically fit and able to spend extended hours working outdoors in a wide range of climate conditions. LaDOTD experience a plus. Local candidates preferred; no relocation.
