Now Hiring: Sheet Metal Worker
Location: Newport News, VA
Wages:
Up to $30.97 Per Hour
$120.00 Per Diem Offered, if eligible
Experience:
Minimum of three (3) years of experience as a 1st Class Sheet Metal Work in the installation of foundations, ventilation, bulkheads, shipboard furniture & sheet metal fabrication shop work. Marine experience is preferred.
Required Skills:
Ability to comprehend complex ventilation assembly drawings, blueprints, and sketches.
Ability to comprehend fractional and decimal dimensions with the use of a ruler.
Ability to lay off piece parts for fabrication and assembly
Ability to assemble piece parts in accordance with specifications.
Experience using small hand tools (electric drills, grinders, rivet guns) and shop equipment (drill press, press break, shears, etc.).
  • Must Successfully pass a background check and hair follicle drug test.
  • Must be able to work any shift and overtime if required.
