Livermore Ford Lincoln Alfa Romeo Maserati is seeking a motivated, customer-focused individual to join our Service Department as an Entry-Level Service Advisor Trainee / Porter. This position is designed for individuals looking to begin a career in the automotive industry with the opportunity to grow into a Service Advisor role through hands-on training and mentorship.

What You'll Do

Porter Responsibilities:

  • Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Assist with vehicle check-in and service lane organization.
  • Move customer and dealership vehicles safely throughout the property.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service drive and customer waiting areas.
  • Deliver completed vehicles to customers and assist with vehicle pick-up.
  • Perform vehicle walk-arounds and basic inspections.
  • Assist technicians and service advisors with daily operations.
  • Shuttle vehicles as needed.
  • Support the service team in providing an exceptional customer experience.

Service Advisor Training Responsibilities:

  • Learn dealership service processes and procedures.
  • Shadow experienced Service Advisors.
  • Assist with appointment scheduling and customer communications.
  • Learn how to create repair orders and document customer concerns.
  • Develop knowledge of maintenance recommendations and repair services.
  • Learn manufacturer maintenance schedules for Ford, Lincoln, Alfa Romeo, and Maserati vehicles.
  • Build communication and sales skills necessary to become a Service Advisor.

Qualifications

Valid California driver's license with a clean driving record.

Ability to operate both automatic and manual transmission vehicles is required

Ability to enter and exit vehicles repeatedly throughout the day.

Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.

Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
