Service Advisor Job Responsibilities

• Greet customers and build strong relationships by providing a friendly, professional, and customer-first experience
• Clearly explain recommended services, maintenance, and repairs to customers in a knowledgeable and easy-to-understand manner
• Create accurate repair orders, document concerns, and communicate effectively with technicians to ensure proper diagnosis and repair
• Keep customers informed on repair status, timelines, and cost updates, ensuring transparency throughout the service process
• Drive customer satisfaction by consistently achieving high CSI scores through exceptional communication and service quality
• Maximize service department profitability by identifying maintenance opportunities and promoting dealership services
• Assist with scheduling appointments, managing workflow, and ensuring timely vehicle delivery
• Ensure compliance with all manufacturer and dealership policies and standards

Service Advisor Benefits and Compensation

Pay Range: $60,000.00 to $100,000.00 annually!

Service Advisor Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Service Advisor or in an automotive service environment preferred
• Strong communication and customer service skills with a friendly, upbeat attitude
• Ability to explain technical information in a clear, easy-to-understand way
• Basic automotive knowledge and willingness to learn more
• Proficiency with computers, appointment scheduling, and dealership management systems (CDK experience is a plus)

Corporate requirements: Must be 18 years or older with, a clean driving record, and able to pass a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screen.
