Your Responsibilities
Customer Experience and Sales
  • Welcome customers and listen carefully to their vehicle concerns
  • Build lasting customer relationships through honesty, professionalism, and excellent service
  • Explain inspection findings and repair recommendations clearly
  • Present necessary maintenance and repair services confidently
  • Prepare accurate estimates and repair orders
  • Obtain authorization before beginning repairs
  • Keep customers informed about pricing, repair progress, and completion times

  • Resolve customer concerns promptly and professionally
  • Promote customer retention and repeat business
Leadership and Shop Operations
  • Lead, motivate, and hold the service and technician teams accountable
  • Direct automotive and general service technicians
  • Assign work and manage the shop’s daily workflow
  • Monitor technician productivity, repair quality, and on-time completion
  • Recruit, train, schedule, coach, and evaluate employees
  • Establish daily sales, productivity, and customer-service goals
  • Conduct daily meetings and communicate priorities clearly
  • Maintain a positive, professional, and results-driven workplace
Business Management
  • Drive sales growth and help achieve profitability objectives
  • Identify legitimate sales opportunities based on vehicle inspection results
  • Oversee service-advisor sales, accounting, cash-handling, and clerical functions
  • Source parts and maintain productive vendor relationships
  • Manage inventory levels, costs, and accurate inventory counts
  • Monitor key performance results and take action when goals are not met
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and environmental requirements

  • At least five years of automotive retail, repair, or service-management experience
