About the RoleCanon U.S.A., Inc. has an exciting opportunity in Boise, ID area to support our photolithography equipment customers and enable them to utilize cutting edge technology in their semiconductor manufacturing process. This is an entry level position where you will be trained to support Canon's photolithography equipment (steppers and scanners).   This position requires full-time presence at your assigned office(s)/worksite(s).Your Impact- Perform repairs and preventive maintenance of semiconductor manufacturing equipment to ensure equipment performance and uptime meet customer specifications - Install and calibrate semiconductor process equipment to factory specifications - Escalate advanced repairs as needed, to senior level technicians - Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activity and provide periodic reports to site and regional management - Participate in ongoing technical training and machine installations to expand technical expertise. About You: The Skills & Expertise You BringPlease note: This is a customer-facing role, and requires compliance with customer policies and protocols, which may include COVID-19 vaccination and other measures relating to COVID-19.   - HS Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience required. AA OR BS degree in a related field is preferred, plus less than one year of related experience. (i.e. FSE or Technician position in a semiconductor equipment company or a technical position in the engineering field) - May require up to 30% travel (valid driver's license and acceptable driving record necessary) - Requires basic Excel knowledge.  Powerpoint is preferred - Position may require travel to other offices/customer sites within the US.
