Champion Personnel is hiring an experienced Die Setter for a well-established metal stamping manufacturer serving OEM and Tier 1 automotive suppliers since 1986. If you have progressive die setup experience and enjoy working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, this is an outstanding direct hire opportunity with excellent benefits and employee ownership.
Shift & Pay
? Location: Cleveland, OH (East Side)
? Pay: Starting at $25+/hour
? Schedule:
  • Monday-Thursday: 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM
  • Overtime available on Fridays (ยฝ day)
  • Direct Hire Position

What You'll Do
  • Set up and change over progressive dies on stamping presses
  • Remove and install dies while ensuring proper alignment
  • Adjust feed mechanisms and press settings
  • Read and interpret blueprints
  • Inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring tools
  • Troubleshoot stamping equipment during production
  • Complete setup documentation and production paperwork
  • Ensure parts meet quality specifications before full production begins

What We're Looking For
โ€ข Previous die setting experience in a metal stamping environment
โ€ข Experience with progressive dies and stamping presses
โ€ข Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
โ€ข Experience using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring equipment
โ€ข Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
โ€ข Ability to lift up to 60 pounds
โ€ข Steel-toe boots required
