Job description

NeuBird AI · San Francisco Bay Area (on-site / hybrid) · Full-time · Reports to the Head of Sales Development

Part 1 — Job description (for the LinkedIn job post)About NeuBird AI

NeuBird AI keeps production running, so engineers don't have to. Our Production Ops Agent, a platform of specialized agents orchestrated as one, fixes the underlying issue through agentic instrumentation before a threshold trips, investigates root cause in minutes, and takes human-approved action with a full audit trail. Instead of bolting a reactive agent onto a noisy alert queue, we fix the source.

We're a well-funded company backed by Mayfield, M12 (Microsoft's venture fund), Prosperity7, StepStone, and Xora Innovation, building the category of agentic production operations. Now we're building the go-to-market engine to match the product.

The role

As one of our founding Sales Development Representatives, you'll be at the tip of the spear for NeuBird AI's growth. You'll open conversations with engineering and platform leaders, tell a genuinely differentiated story, and generate the qualified pipeline that fuels the business. You'll be an early member of the team, which means your feedback shapes the playbook, the messaging, and the motion as we build it.

You'll report to the Head of Sales Development and work closely with marketing and account executives. This is a high-impact seat with a clear growth path into senior SDR, account executive, or sales development leadership as you prove yourself.

What you'll do
  • Run targeted outbound across email, phone, and social to engineering, platform, DevOps, and SRE buyers.
  • Qualify inbound interest from campaigns and events, and book meetings that turn into pipeline.
  • Research accounts and personalize outreach that lands with a technical audience.
  • Partner with marketing on messaging and with account executives on account strategy.
  • Keep your pipeline and activity clean and current in the CRM, and share what's working so the whole team gets better.
  • Consistently hit and exceed meeting and pipeline targets.
Qualifications

Required

  • 1+ year of sales development, business development, or comparable customer-facing experience, or a demonstrated track record of hustle and results that translates to sales.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, with the ability to make a crisp, relevant point to a busy technical buyer.
  • Comfort with high-volume outbound and the resilience to keep going through a "no."
  • Coachable, curious, and organized, with good instincts for prioritizing accounts and follow-ups.
  • Familiarity with a modern outbound stack (CRM and sequencing tools) or the aptitude to pick it up fast.

Preferred

  • Experience selling or prospecting into engineering, platform, DevOps, or SRE audiences.
  • Exposure to observability, infrastructure, developer tools, or other technical B2B software.
  • Early-stage startup experience and comfort operating without a fully built playbook.
Compensation and benefits

Competitive base and on-target earnings, equity, and comprehensive health coverage. We'll share the full details early in the conversation.

NeuBird AI is an equal-opportunity employer. We welcome applicants of every background and do not discriminate on any protected basis.
