Electrician

We are a stable company seeking skilled, reliable, dedicated, and well-organized top technicians for the role of electrician.  This position offers the opportunity to work on multiple commercial and industrial projects while contributing to the success of a growing company. THIS IS NOT AN ENTRY LEVEL POSITION. If you are a motivated, skilled electrician that is committed to doing high-quality work and looking for stability with a company that values its employees, with opportunities for advancement, we want you to be a part of our team.  Strong preference given to applicants holding a current state license or Asheville city card.

Responsibilities

·         Repair, replace, and install electrical equipment and systems in commercial and industrial environments

·         Communicate with foreman about daily and weekly tasks

·         Understand and apply local, state, and federal electrical codes

·         Use appropriate tools and testing equipment to complete tasks efficiently.

·         Work collaboratively with team members and maintain positive work conditions.

·         Actively be involved with jobsite processes, with the goal being to successfully and safely compete the job.

·         Interact with others on the job site in a professional manner as a JEC representative.

·         Follow all directions from your foreman and superintendent

·         Maintain a clean and safe work site and an organized material area.

Experience and Skill Requirements

·         Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, including lifting, carrying, bending, crawling, climbing and balancing

·         Experienced in commercial and industrial electrical work

·         Ability to read blueprints

·         Proficient in conduit installation (EMT, Rigid, PVC, Robroy)

·         Two or three years of experience

·         Proficient in wire pulling and termination

·         Effective communication skills

·         Strong work ethics with an emphasis on safety

·         Strong time management skills

·         Possess personal integrity and quality workmanship

·         Excellent organizational skills and the ability to follow through on assigned tasks

·         Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as part of a team

·         Good interpersonal skills with a positive attitude and professional demeanor
