Position Summary:

Responsible for performing customer service, meeting and greeting all new guests which come into the resort. Able to help guests daily with activities which are going on in the resort, and activities or events that are going on outside the resort in the area. Concierge will give tours of the clubhouse to potential new buyers in the resort if the salesperson is not available. Concierge will be at the weekly Buzz in the ballroom to give information about events that week and give out flyers with information.


PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES:

  • Customer service skills, meet and greet new residents and guests
  • Computer skills with Word, Publisher and video making software
  • Keep up with events in the area and the resort
  • Able to direct guests and residents to areas outside of the resort
  • Have flyers from local Chamber of Commerce for guests
  • Answering phones and being able to answer questions for guests
  • Performs other related duties as assigned

Requirements

  2. Effective Communication: Clearly and effectively communicating with guests, colleagues, and service providers.
  3. Organizational Skills: Managing multiple tasks, reservations, and requests efficiently. Multitasking, time management, attention to detail, and prioritization.
  4. Problem-Solving and Resourcefulness: Addressing and resolving guest issues quickly and efficiently, often requiring creativity and resourcefulness. Critical thinking, adaptability, decision-making, and resourcefulness.
  5. Local Knowledge and Networking: Being well-informed about local attractions, services, restaurants, and events, and having a network of reliable service providers. Research, networking, up-to-date knowledge of the local area, and negotiation.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Physical Activities: Lifting, bending, kneeling, reaching overhead.
  • Lifting requirements: Up to 20 lbs.
  • Working Conditions: Work in a fast-paced environment and able to stay calm during these conditions.
