The role...

The Junior Buyer is a procurement professional responsible for supporting the sourcing of indirect goods and services and supplier management across the Soho House locations in North America. Reporting to the Head of Indirect Procurement - North America, this role will help manage sourcing requests, supplier relationships, contract administration, spend analysis, and procurement projects that drive operational efficiency and cost savings.

Key Responsibilitiesย 

  • Support the procurement of indirect goods and services including collateral supplies, hotel amenities, kitchen equipment, and other operational categories.
  • Assist with competitive sourcing events, including gathering supplier quotations, evaluating proposals, and preparing recommendation summaries.
  • Support sourcing, onboarding & management of suppliers for new business initiatives.
  • Analyze purchasing data to identify cost-saving opportunities and spend trends.
  • Maintain procurement documentation, contracts, pricing files, and sourcing records.
  • Assist with implementation, adoption and continuous improvement of procurement processes and systems.
  • Serve as a point of contact for operational teams by responding to product, supplier, and procurement-related inquiries.
  • Partner with on-site purchasing teams to support new initiatives, product rollouts, and operational requirements across North America.
  • Participate in cross-functional procurement initiatives and continuous improvement projects.

Required Qualificationsย 

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Hospitality Management, Finance, or a related field preferred.
  • 1-3 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, supply chain, hospitality, or administrative support
  • Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Comfortable working with data and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Customer-service mindset with the ability to build relationships across departments.
  • Analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with procurement or ERP systems is a plus (Adaco, Coupa, SAP, Oracle, etc.).

Preferred Skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP preferred).
  • Experience working in hospitality, retail, food & beverage, or multi-site operations is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with procurement best practices and supplier management.
  • Interest in pursuing a career in strategic sourcing or supply chain management.
