What role you will play in our team
  • ExxonMobil is seeking both contractors and full-time employees across various roles to provide reservoir engineering technical expertise to Conventional Oil & Gas development Work with multi-discipline teams to support optimal asset development, reservoir management, and site screening
  • Leverage fundamental reservoir engineering and reservoir simulation skills in reservoir characterization, development planning, opportunity generation, and production/injection optimization
  • The position is located at ExxonMobil campus in Spring, Texas

What you will do
  • Performing reservoir modeling and simulation to support conventional and/or deepwater developments
  • Conducting reservoir depletion planning and field development planning
  • Performing reserves assessments and identifying production or injection optimization opportunities
  • Planning, evaluation and/or execution of appraisal and field development / drill well programs
  • Identifying key reservoir uncertainties and providing recommendations to mitigate risks
  • Improving reservoir description through fluid analysis, core evaluation, well testing interpretation, and production performance analysis

About you
Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering required - preferably Petroleum, Chemical, or Mechanical; Advanced Degrees (Master's / PhD) also welcome
  • Minimum 1-3 years of industry experience in Conventional Reservoir Engineering
  • Reservoir simulation experience in new developments and/or producing assets (including constructing, updating and history matching models)
  • INTERSECT / Eclipse Reservoir Simulation experience
  • Candidates should be self-motivated and focused on achieving business results while working in a multi-disciplinary team in a fast-paced business environment. Demonstrated teamwork and strong communication skills are essential
